Role Overview
We are looking for a confident and experienced HR Advisor (Contract) to join our team in Ahmedabad. This role requires a strong foundation in HR operations and employee relations with the ability to advise line managers and ensure HR best practices across the employee lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be proactive detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced tech environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and managers.
- Provide guidance on HR policies procedures and employment law compliance.
- Support and advise on employee relations cases (attendance grievances conduct etc.).
- Coordinate recruitment efforts and advise on sourcing strategies and candidate fit.
- Oversee smooth onboarding and offboarding processes ensuring a positive employee experience.
- Assist with performance management processes including documentation and follow-ups.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records contracts and reports.
- Support implementation of HR initiatives such as engagement activities training and compliance tracking.
- Collaborate closely with leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives.
Qualifications
- Master s degree in Human Resources Business Administration Psychology or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant HR experience preferably in an advisory or generalist capacity.
- Strong understanding of HR operations policies and Indian labor regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a consultative approach.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in MS Office; experience with HRIS systems is an advantage.
- High level of professionalism discretion and integrity in handling confidential information.
