Job Description

Job Title: Corporate Legal Executive / Manager

Salary: As Per Market Standard
Location: Mumbai
Experience Required: Minimum 5 Years
Educational Qualification: LLB / LLM from a recognized university

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and seasoned Corporate Legal Executive / Manager to handle legal operations including litigation recovery compliance and legal risk management. This position requires hands-on experience with FIR handling Accounts Receivable recovery and direct interaction with police authorities and legal institutions across India.


Key Responsibilities

  • Handle FIR filings and coordinate with local police authorities and legal counsel for legal interventions.

  • Manage criminal and civil litigation (especially under Section 138 and related civil suits) relating to accounts recovery and other corporate matters.

  • Support Accounts Receivable (AR) teams by issuing legal notices and pursuing legal remedies for outstanding dues.

  • Travel across India for court hearings branch-level disputes customer escalations and law enforcement coordination.

  • Draft vet and finalize legal documents including contracts agreements NDAs and corporate policies to ensure legal soundness and compliance.

  • Respond to legal notices from vendors customers or employees and manage internal dispute resolution effectively.

  • Provide on-ground legal support during inspections branch issues customer complaints and escalations.

  • Act as a legal liaison for internal teams such as Sales Accounts and Operations for timely legal inputs and advice.

  • Ensure full compliance with corporate laws regulatory requirements and the company s legal framework.

  • Maintain regular coordination with law firms statutory authorities and external legal agencies.

  • Prepare and update case trackers MIS reports and maintain all legal documentation.

  • Submit periodic reports on legal matters case status and potential legal risks to senior management.


Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor s or Master s Degree in Law (LLB / LLM).

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in corporate legal roles with a strong background in:

  • Prior experience in dealing with FIRs police coordination and frequent travel for legal assignments is mandatory.


Key Skills Required

  • In-depth understanding of Indian Penal Code Civil Procedure Code Negotiable Instruments Act and corporate law frameworks

  • Strong drafting reviewing and negotiation skills for contracts and legal documents

  • Excellent communication interpersonal and negotiation abilities

  • Proficiency in legal research case management and compliance audits

  • High level of integrity confidentiality and attention to detail

  • Flexibility to travel across regions and manage multiple legal portfolios



Excellent English communication skills with no grammatical errors. Ability to speak English fluently and clearly. Willingness to work night shifts. Freshers or candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience in any domain are eligible. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Basic computer skills and familiarity with MS Office applications. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
