Lead Data Engineer Azure Python Microsoft Fabric- Miami FL
Are you a data engineering leader ready to shape the future of enterprise data My client is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to design scalable high-performance data solutions using modern Azure technologies including Microsoft Fabric. This is a hands-on strategic role with ownership of architecture pipeline design and mentoring a growing team.
What Youll Do:
Architect and manage ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric
Optimize ingestion and transformation workflows for structured and semi-structured data
Build reusable data models and ensure data governance and quality
Collaborate cross-functionally to meet business goals and reporting needs
Mentor junior engineers and guide offshore development teams
Contribute to the enterprise data roadmap with a forward-thinking mindset
What You Bring:
5 years in data engineering with large-scale solution delivery
Expert-level Python/PySpark SQL and familiarity with NoSQL
Deep experience with Azure Data Services especially Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric
Strong grasp of data modeling warehousing and scalable architecture
CI/CD experience (preferably Azure DevOps)
Clear communicator with leadership skills and a problem-solving mindset
Bachelors degree required; Masters or prior data architecture experience is a plus
