Job Description

Reporting to the Manager - HR Operations you will be responsible for:

  • Responsible for a full spectrum of monthly payroll functions which includes preparation and processing of payroll in an efficient accurate and timely manner.
  • Perform payroll trending and data analysis.
  • Generate Payroll report and other payroll related reports for internal and external submission.
  • Liaise with the respective government statutory bodies.
  • Ensure accurate timely payments and compliance with all statutory requirements.
  • Ensure the preparation of annual tax reporting is accurate and timely.
  • Perform posting to finance payroll related entries and ensure the postings are charged correctly.
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance for internal controls and audits.
  • Assist in other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelors degree in Human Resource Mathematics or accounting preferred.
  • Proven experience in a payroll position in a fast-paced environment required.
  • Experience with Malaysia payroll and labour regulations for both retail & corporate functions.
  • Knowledge in SAP HCM or SAP SuccessFactors will be added advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Excel MS Word & MS PowerPoint.
  • Able to analyze payroll issues and provide corrective action.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality with the handling of the payroll data and results.
  • Meticulous and good analytical skill.
  • A team player with a pleasant personality can-do attitude and the ability to work independently.
