Reporting to the Manager - HR Operations you will be responsible for:
- Responsible for a full spectrum of monthly payroll functions which includes preparation and processing of payroll in an efficient accurate and timely manner.
- Perform payroll trending and data analysis.
- Generate Payroll report and other payroll related reports for internal and external submission.
- Liaise with the respective government statutory bodies.
- Ensure accurate timely payments and compliance with all statutory requirements.
- Ensure the preparation of annual tax reporting is accurate and timely.
- Perform posting to finance payroll related entries and ensure the postings are charged correctly.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance for internal controls and audits.
- Assist in other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelors degree in Human Resource Mathematics or accounting preferred.
- Proven experience in a payroll position in a fast-paced environment required.
- Experience with Malaysia payroll and labour regulations for both retail & corporate functions.
- Knowledge in SAP HCM or SAP SuccessFactors will be added advantage.
- Proficient in MS Excel MS Word & MS PowerPoint.
- Able to analyze payroll issues and provide corrective action.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality with the handling of the payroll data and results.
- Meticulous and good analytical skill.
- A team player with a pleasant personality can-do attitude and the ability to work independently.
