Job Description: People Capability Lead at YourNest
With over 100000 startups there is no dearth of quantity in India. The challenge lies in spotting potential winners and shaping them to become unicorns that will change how we live and work as well as reward investors.
At YourNest we ve been scouting for diamonds in the rough since 2011: with three funds adding up to $100 mn being the first to focus on DeepTech startups and ensuring we remain among India s best-performing early-stage funds we ve made it a habit to set new benchmarks in the country s venture capital sector.
We ve helped build startups by infusing our unique nurture capital and enabling them to scale into global markets. We ve done this thanks to an enterprising team of committed young people who work closely with our founders to help them succeed.
Now were hiring a People Lead to join us in this mission. The role will be vital in realizing the brand vision embodying and promoting We Nurture Success in every facet of work.
The People Lead will not only elevate the internal framework of YourNest but also extend effective solutions and best practices to our portfolio companies when needed. This role embodies our core belief: We Nurture Success.
What Problem Will You Solve
Culture Stewardship:
- Nurture and evolve the company s culture to support a high-performance collaborative and inclusive environment reinforcing our guiding principle of We Nurture Success.
- Develop initiatives that align with YourNest s core values and encourage continuous improvement and employee engagement fostering an environment where success is cultivated.
Talent Management:
- Implement and refine performance management processes to ensure ongoing professional growth and alignment with organizational goals upholding the essence of We Nurture Success.
- Design and facilitate leadership development programs and talent development strategies that foster future leaders who contribute to nurturing success within YourNest and across portfolio companies.
- To nurture entrepreneurs co-create and implement entrepreneurship development curriculum.
Organizational Performance:
- Partner with leadership to design and execute organizational strategies that enhance team effectiveness and productivity ensuring that We Nurture Success permeates through every initiative.
- Drive initiatives that measure and boost workforce productivity leveraging data-driven insights to recommend improvements that align with our nurturing ethos.
Consultative Role for Portfolio Companies:
- Provide advisory services and tailored talent solutions to portfolio companies as needed ensuring alignment with industry best practices and YourNest s overarching goals of nurturing success.
- Share insights and frameworks that have proven successful within YourNest to support and nurture growth across the wider network.
