Job Description
Our client a leading global investment manager with a strong track record across credit and private equity strategies is seeking a Fund Accounting Team Lead to join their London-based finance function. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a senior role within a highly regarded fast-paced buy-side environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage day-to-day fund accounting operations for a portfolio of closed- and open-ended funds across credit and private equity strategies
- Review NAV calculations capital account statements and investor reporting
- Manage relationships with third-party fund administrators auditors and custodians
- Work closely with investment and operations teams to ensure smooth fund workflows and accurate financial reporting
- Responsible for all fee calculations of structured product vehicles including management fees
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the ongoing development of the wider finance function
Candidate Profile:
- ACA qualified accountant (Big 4 trained preferred)
- 3 7 years post-qualified experience in a fund accounting role within an investment or asset management firm
- Strong technical understanding of fund structures particularly credit and/or private equity funds
- Proven ability to manage external stakeholders and collaborate across internal teams
- IFRS/ S110 experience ideally
- Hands-on detail-oriented and able to work independently in a dynamic international environment
