Job Description
Our client a specialist investment management firm is seeking a Financial & Fund Accountant to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to work across both corporate and fund accounting in a dynamic and growing investment environment.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified or part-qualified accountant with experience in fund accounting strong financial reporting skills and a keen interest in alternative investments.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts annual financial statements budgets forecasts and board reporting.
- Manage general ledger activity accounts payable/receivable VAT and corporation tax returns and support the year-end audit.
- Liaise with fund administrators on quarterly accounts NAVs investor distributions and support investor and regulatory reporting.
- Collaborate with investment and operations teams to improve reporting processes and maintain fund financial models.
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 3 years experience ideally in financial services.
- Strong technical accounting and reporting skills; fund accounting experience is a plus.
- Proficient in Excel and financial systems; knowledge of FRS102 and IFRS desirable.
- Experience in fund accounting is highly desirable.
