3 Month Contract with a local Authority
Job Purpose
- We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Team Manager to join our Families First Children s Service on a short-term basis to support the ongoing implementation of our new Front Door model. This is a pivotal role in ensuring that children and families receive the right support at the right time through a collaborative and child-centred approach.
Key Duties/Accountabilities
- Provide operational leadership and management to a team of social workers and support staff.
- Oversee the day-to-day functioning of the Front Door service ensuring timely and effective responses to referrals and safeguarding concerns.
- Support the implementation and embedding of the new Front Door model driving continuous improvement and best practice.
- Ensure that all decisions are informed by a clear understanding of the needs and views of children and families.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies to gather and share information that supports effective decision-making.
- Participate in the management rota (Monday to Friday 8am 8pm) and provide on-call support as required.
- Contribute to the development of a learning culture through supervision coaching and reflective practice.
Essential Experience Required.
- Leadership in Children s Social Care
- Safeguarding and Risk Assessment
- Front Door/Referral Services
Essential Qualifications Required
- (HCC) Registered with Social Work England
Additional information to note
- This role is 37 Working Hours Per Week.
- Enhanced DBS is Required for this role.
