Job Description

  • Lead a variety of consultancy projects for our infrastructure clients from technical advice to transformational programs.
  • Identify pursue and deliver work for power sector clients with the support of our Technical Directors and Consultants/Senior Consultants.
  • Develop follow-on opportunities contribute to growing our presence in the power sector.
  • Work with global colleagues to deliver work grow our organisational knowledge and contribute to the development of new services. 
  • Be a part of our teams leadership with line management for junior consultants and a desire to mentor and support their development.
  • This role may include short-term travel across Australia and New Zealand.

Qualifications :

Required:

  • Degree level qualification preferred (engineering business economics or other relevant field) or technical qualifications gained in industry
  • Significant experience working in the power sector in Australia (across generation distribution or transmission)
  • Exposure to regulatory frameworks for the power sector and deep understanding of sector challenges and opportunities in Australia and New Zealand
  • Experience leading teams to deliver quality outcomes including line management performance management and mentoring
  • Growing professional networks through proactive industry engagement and professional membership bodies
  • Proven experience delivering quality service to internal or external customers with good communication and ability to build rapport
  • Business planning including commercial management risk management and planning

Desirable experience (not essential):

  • Asset management capability assessment and improvement road-mapping.
  • Delivering transformational multi-year programs
  • Power sector safety and technical planning particularly in NSW and VIC
  • Asset management software system management or implementation
