Job Description
Accounting Support - St. Joseph MI
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM $30-32/hr.
Seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records ensuring compliance with accounting standards and supporting the overall financial operations of the company.
Job Duties:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
- Support audits and tax filings.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights.
Requirements:
- Bachelors /Associates degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks SAP). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
