Job Description
Are you passionate about financial leadership and eager to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic industry We are looking for a dedicated Controller to join our team and lead our financial operations with precision and innovation. Your Role:
- Financial Management and Reporting: Oversee accounting operations including accounts payable receivable cost and inventory accounting. Ensure compliance with GAAP or other accounting standards and manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and monitor annual budgets providing forecasts and financial planning to support strategic decisions.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow to ensure liquidity for business operations optimizing working capital management.
- ERP System Management: Ensure the financial modules of the ERP system align with company practices leveraging its capabilities for budget management and financial forecasting.
- Internal Controls & Compliance: Establish and monitor internal financial controls and ensure compliance with relevant regulations including tax filings.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Work alongside departmental heads to provide financial guidance fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Strategic Support: Provide financial insights to the leadership team identifying risks and opportunities for business growth.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field; CPA CMA or equivalent certification preferred.
- 6 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial management with a minimum of 2 years in a controller role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
- Proficiency in enterprise accounting software (Dynamics 365 is a plus) and advanced Excel skills.
- Familiarity with payroll systems and HR-related processes.
- Experience in a small to mid-sized company and with financial modeling is a plus.
