About the department & role:
BYD EUROPE BV is currently looking for a Key Account Manager for the BYD Electric Forklift Division in Europe. The Key Account Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining business with major companies which have presence in several countries or areas to provide BYD unique Lithium Iron-phosphate forklift solution.
As Key Account Manager your responsibility areas will be:
- Maintain the commercial relationship with the existing key account customers in Europe.
- Generate and maintain contacts with potential customers who might benefit from switching to BYD Lithium Iron-phosphate forklifts solution.
- Conduct site survey demonstration and generate feasibility study.
- Participate in supplier qualification and tender process.
- Coordinate leasing companies service providers as well as BYD authorized dealers for quotations.
- Inputs to factory detailing customers requirements on products and solutions.
- Manage orders contracts deliveries and regular review KPI with Key Account customers.
- Define and execute business plan in accordance to companys yearly sales and deliveries target for Key Account customers.
As Key Account Manager your daily tasks will be:
- Submit business plan for key account business development.
- Define targeted customers and establish contacts.
- Conduct meetings and visits to customers.
- Generate visit reports and feasibility studies.
- Complete process to add BYD into customers supplier lists.
- Coordinate with regional sales managers and service managers for customers local needs.
- Coordinate with affected parties to complete quotations offers and tenders.
- Generate inputs for product team for future product developments.
- Maintain orders contracts agreements with customers.
- Conduct regular review meetings with customers HQ and local plants on KPI to ensure customers satisfaction.
Your profile:
- 5 -10 years of experience in key account in the material handling sector;
- Business-related Bachelors degree;
- Excellent English language skills German Spanish and other European languages will be considered as an advantage;
- Excellent negotiation skills value-added selling creative thinking analytical reasoning listening skills;
- Ability to work with teams from various countries and cultural backgrounds positive attitude;
- Highly skilled Excel and PowerPoint user;
- Training of Value-added selling and High-level negotiation will be highly appreciated;
- Ready for business travels up to 50 % of the time.
