Nursery Support Manager Up to 30000 Office-Based & Supernumerary

Are you an experienced early years professional ready to step into a leadership role that makes a real difference


Our client is looking for a passionate and organised Nursery Support Manager to join their management team. This is a full-time fully office-based and supernumerary position ideal for someone seeking to grow their career in early years leadership.

This well-established and friendly nursery provides a nurturing environment for children aged 05. With a strong emphasis on teamwork inclusion and high-quality early education the setting values every team members voice and experience.

As part of the leadership team the Nursery Support Manager will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day running of the nursery ensuring excellence in care and compliance with all operational standards.

What Were Looking For

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years essential.
  • Previous experience in a nursery leadership role such as Deputy Nursery Manager or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS safeguarding and child development.
  • Confident professional communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive team player with the ability to lead with empathy and fairness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager in all aspects of nursery operations.
  • Maintain and promote a safe inclusive and engaging learning environment in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Provide mentoring and supervision to staff supporting development and best practice.
  • Ensure nursery policies and procedures are consistently followed across all rooms.
  • Assist with staff schedules room planning and daily operational logistics.
  • Build positive professional relationships with children families and the wider team.
  • Contribute to audits inspections and continuous improvement processes.
