Job Title:Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry
Grade:Consultant
Location:Basingstoke Hampshire
Working Hours:40 hours per week

We are seeking a dedicated Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry to join our NHS client in Basingstoke Hampshire. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start on a short-term contract.
Key Responsibilities
Provide expert psychiatric care for older adults in a variety of clinical settings
Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised treatment plans
Lead multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to service development
Offer clinical supervision and support to junior medical staff
Ensure full compliance with the Mental Health Act (MHA) and other relevant legislation
Qualifications & Experience
Full GMC registration
Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician (AC) status
Extensive experience in Old Age Psychiatry
Proven experience in a consultant-level role
