As the Technology Domain Owner you will play an important role across all aspects of Westpacs One Core technology platforms including service management delivery risk and finance.

This is more than a technical role; it is an opportunity to build meaningful relationships with senior stakeholders across Technology Business Service Management and our valued Partners. You will be a trusted advisor helping to solve problems support critical decision-making and nurture continuous improvement across our platforms.

We are looking for someone who brings warmth curiosity and a genuine desire to contribute meaningfully. You are someone who is comfortable getting into the detail when needed while also offering a calm big-picture perspective. While flexibility to work outside standard hours is sometimes needed you will be part of a team that values balance growth and mutual support.

What do I need

  • Min. 5 years experience in a similar role.
  • Previous experience and understanding of ITIL / Service Management principles preferable.
  • Expertise in Payments applications; knowledge in payment standards and payment message formats will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Lead experience with agile and iterative methodologies.
  • Good understanding of cloud technologies.
  • Experience as a People Leader developing and leading technology teams.
  • A natural collaborator with the ability to engage effectively with customers stakeholders and partners to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Confidence in working independently and managing pressure including availability beyond standard hours when needed.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and managing technology risks with a commitment to reducing exposure and enhancing resilience across the business.
