- Home-based (UK-wide)

The Opportunity:
I am currently looking for a NHSS8/HERS accredited Highways Technology Engineer to engage on a contract basis to support the ongoing maintenance and commissioning of technology assets on major highways projects.
You will come from a background dealing with roadside technology such as HADECS VMS NRTS street lighting etc. with a good understanding of Highways Agency Technology kit and equipment.
Skills and Experience:
- A background in roadside technology or Intelligent Transport Systems particularly for major UK roads
- Currently accredited with NHSS8/HERS (Highway Electrical Registration Scheme)
- Previous experience working with speed cameras traffic counters or ANPR cameras would be beneficial
- Knowledge of installation of motorway equipment/cabling
- Full drivers licence
