Job Description
The Human Resources Talent Systems Administrator serves as the primary point of contact for Virginia Techs talent management systems specifically supporting Applicant Tracking Performance Management and Learning Management applications. This position focuses on system administration user access management process improvement and technical support. The administrator works closely with HR stakeholders and external vendors to ensure smooth system operation configuration of workflows implementation of enhancements and data integrity. The position is responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation and delivering training support as required.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business Management Business Information Systems or a related field.
Experience administering human resources systems (preferably talent management platforms).
Demonstrated ability to manage data accurately and develop process solutions in a high-volume environment.
Strong analytical skills with attention to data integrity reporting and troubleshooting.
Ability to apply independent judgment and advanced problem-solving.
Experience ensuring compliance with relevant policies regulations and standards.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with PageUp or similar HR platforms.
Familiarity with user access governance and audit preparation.
Experience creating user guides and job aids.
Knowledge of database functionality and experience analyzing system data to identify trends and discrepancies.
Experience working within a large higher education environment within the Commonwealth of Virginia.
