Position Summary:

Florida Atlantic University is seeking an Assistant Director Academic Programs and Strategic Initiatives - Jupiter FL.

The Assistant Director works with the Executive Director of Academic Operations to support graduate and undergraduate training in the life sciences across Florida Atlantic Universitys northern campuses and manages strategic initiatives in partnership with research institutes on the John D. MacArthur campus in Jupiter including the Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience (MPFI).

Masters degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience; or a bachelors degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience required.


Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
Ph.D. or masters degree in a relevant life sciences discipline and at least two years of professional experience in academic program management student services or research education coordination.

Salary:

$65000 - $75000 per year.

Work Days and Hours:

Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
