Environmental Engineer - Industrial Mercury Emissions Monitoring Products and Services
Clean Air Engineering (CleanAir) is a leading global environmental engineering and consulting
company that has been in business since 1972. CleanAir s Advanced Monitoring Services team
located in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and Palatine Illinois has an immediate opening for a full-time
entry-level Environmental Engineer to help grow its industrial monitoring products and services
business. The focus will be on applying CleanAir s mercury emissions monitoring solutions to
industrial sources worldwide.

tinkering and approaching a problem from multiple angles CleanAir is seeking a motivated
Engineer with this kind of mindset who wants to make a difference and help our clients achieve their
environmental goals by applying cutting-edge measurement technologies. The candidate must have
a degree in Engineering Science or a Related Field and will work closely with Project Managers to
implement specific project tasks. The candidate will perform as a member of a multidisciplinary
team of engineers and scientists in a flexible work environment.
The position is located in CleanAir s Palatine IL office and will involve the following key responsibilities:
- Aid in installation operation and quality assurance of CleanAir s mercury emissions monitoring systems
- Ongoing customer support
- Participation in the development of new products and services
- Client engagement to identify new opportunities
- The candidate will work closely with Project Managers in implementing project tasks
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s Degree in Engineering Science or Science-Related Field
- 0-5 years of experience
- Mechanical aptitude and curiosity to tinker
- Experience in using hand tools volt meters and soldering irons
- Effective written and verbal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to travel to project locations in the US and globally
