Working to protect the states environment and heritage.
Our Threatened Species & Ecosystem Policy branch is currently seeking to appoint a Secretariat Threatened Species Scientific Committee to provide critical administrative financial and secretariat support to the Threatened Species Scientific Committee (TSSC). This role plays a vital part in helping the Committee meet its legislative responsibilities under the Biodiversity Conservation Act 2016 and the Intergovernmental Agreement on a Common Assessment Method (2015).
You will be responsible for preparing meeting agendas and minutes managing Committee correspondence coordinating budgets maintaining records and liaising with internal and external stakeholders. Your work will directly contribute to the effective listing and protection of threatened species and ecological communities in NSW.
