Support Services Supervisor - The Memorial Hospital
The Memorial Hospital is seeking a customer focused Supervisor who will engage and motivate staff to achieve the Hospitals goals. Reporting to the ACHA Support Services Manager this hands-on role is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of the hospital cleaning and Portering requirements.
About the role:
- Developing and leading the team to ensure customer requirements are met
- Dealing with customer enquiries and feedback
- Providing ongoing training for new and existing staff
- Ensuring systems and procedures are implemented and monitored
- Proactively promoting and participating in hazard identification and injury reduction
- Developing a strong sense of team work through actively participating in service delivery and providing positive peer influence
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and service delivery

- Experience in managing a team
- High level organisational and communication skills
- Cleaning and/or Hospital experience
- Certificate 4 in Frontline Management desirable
- Operate in line with Infection Control Standards and WHS Policies and Procedures
- Proven ability to effectively manage under pressure with competing demands
