Oracle Fusion Work and Asset Cloud Services (WACS) Functional Consultant

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Functional Designer for Oracle Utility Work and Asset Cloud Service (WACS) to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for the functional design configuration and implementation of Oracle WACS solutions for our utility clients. You will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements translate them into functional designs and ensure the successful delivery of projects. This role requires a strong understanding of Oracle WACS and the unique business processes of utility companies related to work and asset management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with utility business stakeholders (operations field crews asset managers engineers) to understand their needs and translate them into detailed functional requirements for Oracle WACS.
Design and configure Oracle WACS to meet specific utility business processes and requirements related to work management asset management resource management and mobile workforce enablement.
Develop functional design documents including process flows use cases data mappings and integration specifications.
Configure and customize Oracle WACS including setting up work order types asset hierarchies resource availability scheduling rules and mobile workflows.
Design and implement integrations between Oracle WACS and other utility systems (e.g. GIS CIS MDM ERP).
Conduct thorough testing (unit integration user acceptance testing) and ensure the quality of the implemented solutions.
Provide training and support to end-users on Oracle WACS functionality including field crews and back-office staff.
Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing support for Oracle WACS implementations.
Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle WACS features patches and best practices within the utility industry.
Participate in project planning and execution contributing to project timelines and deliverables.
Collaborate with technical teams (developers architects) to ensure seamless integration with other systems.
Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for Oracle WACS implementations within the utilities sector.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Oracle WACS certifications are a plus.
5 years of experience in implementing and supporting Oracle WACS (or similar Work & Asset Management systems) within the utilities industry.
Proven ability to gather and analyze business requirements related to utility operations and translate them into WACS configurations.
