Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough neurological assessments and examinations of patients.
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans for neurological conditions.
- Interpret diagnostic tests including MRI CT scans and EEGs.
- Diagnose and manage a variety of neurological disorders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and families about neurological health and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in electronic medical systems.
- Participate in clinical research and contribute to ongoing studies in neurology.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff and medical trainees.
- Deliver high-quality patient care in a timely manner.
- Stay updated on advancements in neurology and participate in professional development.
- Attend and participate in departmental meetings and case discussions.
- Engage patients in discussions about their health status and treatment progress.
- Implement evidence-based practices in patient management.
- Contribute to hospital initiatives to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- MBBS degree from a recognized institution.
- DM in Neurology or equivalent qualification.
- Valid medical license to practice in India.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical setting.
- Strong understanding of neurological disorders and treatments.
- Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in the use of electronic medical records.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Research experience in neurosciences is preferred.
- Capable of managing a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to educate patients and families effectively.
- Attention to detail in clinical documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and clinical judgment.
- Familiarity with current trends in neurology and related fields.
