Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM and Payroll Consultant to lead the configuration implementation and ongoing support of Oracle HCM Cloud solutions with a strong focus on Payroll functionality. The successful candidate will possess deep functional expertise in Oracle Fusion HCM modules and have hands-on experience in ensuring statutory compliance and accurate payroll processing. This role will play a critical part in the digital transformation journey of a steel manufacturing organization.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Compliance & Legislative Monitoring:
    Stay informed of changes to payroll legislation tax codes and employment laws. Ensure ongoing compliance of the Oracle HCM Payroll system with all relevant statutory requirements and industry standards.

  • System Configuration & Customization:
    Configure the Oracle HCM Payroll module to align with the company s payroll policies tax laws and country-specific statutory requirements. Customize functionalities to support unique payroll processes reporting needs and audit readiness.

  • Testing & Validation:
    Develop and execute detailed test plans to validate payroll calculations integrations and statutory outputs. Ensure the system delivers accurate results and complies with local legal and regulatory payroll standards.

  • Business Analysis & Stakeholder Collaboration:
    Work closely with HR Finance and IT stakeholders to gather payroll requirements. Translate business needs into scalable system solutions and ensure proper documentation and knowledge transfer.

  • System Implementation & Integration:
    Lead the implementation of Oracle HCM Payroll within the steel manufacturing environment. Ensure successful integration with existing ERP time tracking and HR systems.

  • Support & Issue Resolution:
    Act as the primary point of contact for payroll-related system issues. Investigate discrepancies identify root causes and deploy effective solutions. Continuously enhance system performance and user experience.



Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Human Resources Information Systems Business or related field.

  • 5 10 years of hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud with deep expertise in Payroll configuration and implementation.

  • Strong knowledge of Payroll statutory compliance taxation and employment regulations (country-specific knowledge e.g. U.S. U.K. India etc.).

  • Proven experience in Oracle Fusion HCM modules including Core HR Absence Management and Time & Labor is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of payroll processes data flows and payroll integrations with third-party providers or internal systems.

  • Experience in creating test plans functional specifications and user training materials.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot system errors and performance issues.

  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities with a collaborative mindset.
