Adelphi is seeking qualified Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) / Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide nursing care at a residential facility in Taylor County Texas serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Nurses will deliver both acute and long-term care as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Compensation: $33-$36/hr
$200 sign on Bonus (Paid after 150 hours worked)
Requirements
Graduate of an approved LVN/LPN program
Active unrestricted LVN or LPN license in the state of Texas
Minimum of two (2) years experience in an acute care or long-term care setting
Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association
Availability for a rotating schedule including three weekends per month (every other weekend is acceptable if needed)
Must commit to a full six-month contract
Compliance & Documentation Requirements
Valid government-issued photo ID
Negative PPD test within the past 12 months
COVID-19 vaccination card (if applicable)
Background check and urine drug screen (provided by agency)
FBI fingerprint background check (conducted by facility)
All documentation and compliance must be completed prior to the start date no exceptions
All selected candidates must begin facility training on Monday July 7 2025 at 7:45 AM.
Key Responsibilities
Provide nursing care treatment and monitoring for residents on assigned shifts.
Perform both routine and advanced nursing duties with limited supervision.
Collect specimens for lab work and perform basic health screenings.
Instruct and support direct care staff on health-related procedures.
Assist RNs with the implementation of healthcare protocols and training.
Document care provided and evaluate patient response to interventions.
Maintain compliance with facility policies and Texas state nursing standards.
Participate in on-the-job training for new staff and assist in orientation as needed.
