Job Description

Biogas Plant Sales Manager: Core Responsibilities

This role is about direct sales and relationship building to drive the adoption of biogas technology.

Key Competencies

  • Communication & Negotiation: Clear articulation of value effective deal-making.
  • Problem-Solving: Identifying client needs and tailoring biogas solutions.
  • Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of biogas technology applications and market.

Lead Generation & Business Development

  • Market Research: Identify new business opportunities in waste-to-energy agriculture municipal and industrial sectors.
  • Networking: Attend industry events to build connections and generate leads.
  • Direct Outreach: Prospect and qualify leads through cold calls emails and site visits.

Sales Execution

  • Needs Assessment: Understand client requirements to design tailored biogas solutions with the technical team.
  • Proposal & Presentation: Create compelling proposals and present them persuasively highlighting ROI and benefits.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Lead commercial negotiations and close sales contracts to achieve targets.
  • Client Relationship Management: Maintain post-sale satisfaction and identify future opportunities.
  • Reporting: Track sales activities and forecast performance in CRM.


Requirements

Candidate Profile

  • Education: Graduate
  • Experience: 5 years in direct sales (B2B/B2C) preferably in renewable energy industrial equipment or waste management sectors.
  • Salary: As per company norms
