The Job:

As a Software Support Specialist youll be part of our Tools & Outdoor team working as a remote get to:

• Answers on average 40 inbound calls per day from Franchisees and Customers
• Work productively and efficiently in a virtual home office environment
• Utilizes internal systems such as Windows OS and Hardware / AS400 / Web / Customer Relationship Management / Intra and Internet systems and SQL
• Diagnose and resolve issues over the phone. Utilize shareware programs to direct connect remotely to a callers PC to assist with making repairs and updates
• Test Software in advance of new version updates
• Learn previous Point of Sale Software (MBA) to assist Franchisees in transition to future platforms
• Service customers outside of normal business hours during rotating on-call responsibilities (approximately 1 time per month)
• Administer accounts on Intranet sites providing users with access
• Handles complaint resolution competently by demonstrating the ability to openly listen ask clarifying questions relate empathetically and responding in a professional way.
• Quickly interprets customer product and shipment information and demonstrates strong customer service skills while on the phone

• Advanced experience working with all Windows operating systems and PC Hardware
• Experience with proprietary software or demonstrated ability to learn software applications
• Experience with SQL Management Studio DB Visualizer WindowsXP Vista and Remote PC sharing and control required
• Strong customer service skills phone and written and superior follow-up skills
• Strong attention to detail and quality orientation
