Job Description
Thank you for your interest in employment with Louisiana Tech University.
Louisiana Tech University is seeking candidates for Director of Player Development. This is a full-time 12-month position. Qualifications include: Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred. Collegiate playing experience and/or coaching experience and a working knowledge of Conference USA and NCAA regulations are also preferred. Candidate must have sound written and verbal communication skills and a commitment to athletic and academic success.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist the Head Baseball Coach in the day-to-day operations of a Division I Baseball program
- Ensure that the Baseball program demonstrates a commitment to academics and to maintaining compliance with NCAA C-USA Louisiana Tech University and State of Louisiana rules and regulations.
- Provide student-athletes with appropriate development techniques to help them perform at the highest levels.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the University.
