We are looking for a motivated and skilled Learning and Development Officer to join our team in Port Harcourt. You will be responsible for designing implementing and managing employee training and development programs that enhance skills improve performance and support career growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess training needs through surveys interviews and performance evaluations
- Develop organize and deliver training programs workshops and e-learning sessions
- Coordinate onboarding and continuous learning initiatives for employees
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and recommend improvements
- Collaborate with department heads to align learning goals with organizational objectives
- Maintain training records and prepare reports on training activities and outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Human Resources Education Business Administration or related field
- Experience in learning and development or training coordination is preferred
- Strong understanding of instructional design and adult learning principles
- Excellent communication presentation and organizational skills
- Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and digital training tools
