As a Metal Working Occupations Teacher you willsupervise and instruct inmatesin the welding trade at SCI Fayette. You will conduct classroom and on-the-job training that includes the standard practices methods and procedures of the welding trade. You will also oversee and direct inmate work crews completing welding work orders. This role requires effective communication and the ability to determine appropriate instruction methods based on inmate ability as well asa genuine desire to help inmates learnthe standard principles of the welding trade. In addition you will assign daily schedulesinventory materials and tools inspect completed work and exercise care custody and control over inmates at all times.
