What You Can Expect Working in the Regional Account Manager Position

The Regional Account Manager (RAM) is responsible for increasing revenue maximizing operational efficiency and driving profitability through the selling and leasing of portable storage buildings and trailers. This position seeks out and solicits potential new clients while maintaining and growing relationships with existing clientele. Typical clients of SiteBox Storage are in the construction commercial real estate retail and industrial but can vary outside these types of industries. This position works closely with Logistics Transportation and Service Departments and is a true team player who enjoys working with people and displays customer service with whomever they work with during the sales process.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements strategies to maintain and/or expand sales within an assigned territory.
  • Builds and fosters a network of referrals to create new opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to drive business through sales and/or networking.
  • Interfaces with the customer to understand the customers overall objectives and requirements.
  • Responsible for entering new and existing customer sales data into Customer Relationship Management software.
  • Performs profitable transaction in the market taking fiscal responsibility and operational understanding.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED); five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook).
  • Experience working with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Valid Drivers License.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Commercial Real Estate or Construction/Contractor experience.
  • Prior business to business sales experience.
  • Experience providing support for government customers.
  • Thorough knowledge of portable storage industry products and competitive advantages and market trends.
