Job Description

Make a Lasting Impact: Hiring Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher for

Clarifi Staffing Solutions is excited to offer a meaningful opportunity for passionate educators committed to supporting students with hearing impairments. We re seeking a full-time Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher for the school year to work with learners across multiple grade levels helping to create inclusive accessible learning environments.

About the Role:

As a DHH educator you ll design and implement personalized instruction tailored to students unique communication and academic needs. You ll play a key role in fostering student growth through ongoing assessments differentiated teaching strategies and adapted curriculum materials.

You ll collaborate with general education staff families and related service providers to build consistent and effective support systems. Whether using American Sign Language (ASL) oral methods or assistive technology you ll adjust your communication style to meet each learner where they are.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Tracking and reporting student progress in alignment with IEP goals.
  • Ensuring curriculum materials are accessible and inclusive.
  • Offering training and insights to staff on supporting DHH students.
  • Working closely with interdisciplinary teams to maximize student success.
  • Conducting assessments and adjusting instruction based on performance data.
  • Creating individualized learning plans that support both communication and academic development.
This is more than just a teaching role it s a chance to be an advocate a collaborator and a champion for equity in education.

Requirements

Candidates should hold a Bachelor s or Master s degree in Deaf Education or a closely related field along with a valid Georgia teaching certification that includes an endorsement in Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is highly preferred as it greatly enhances communication and instruction. Ideal applicants will have prior experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing in educational settings. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
