Job Description
Founded in 2000 A. Smith & Co. Productions is one of North Americas largest and most prolific television production companies with over 4000 hours of content and more than 200 series produced for 50 networks. Known for its innovative high-quality programming across genres the companys shows have shaped culture and earned numerous awards including Emmy and NAACP Image nominations.
This is an easy-task entry-level position perfect for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes staying organized and contributing to one of North Americas leading television production companies.
Tasks
- Organize review and format digital documents (e.g. scripts production reports release forms)
- Convert files between formats (PDF Word Excel) as needed
- Ensure documents are named saved and archived correctly
- Maintain version control and update document logs
- Collaborate with internal teams via email and file-sharing platforms (Google Drive Dropbox etc.)
- Flag missing or unclear information and follow up as needed
- Assist in preparing documentation packages for internal and external use
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer literacy (familiar with Microsoft Office Google Workspace)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable working independently
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experience in media entertainment or administrative support
- Familiarity with file-sharing platforms like Dropbox Box or SharePoint
