The Human Resources Generalist guides all aspects of HR delivery to positively impact business unit performance and administers the functions of the employment lifecycle such as sourcing staffing employment administration onboarding associate relations leave administration benefit administration and training.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or directly related year for year experience
- 3 years of human resources experience with exposure to generalist responsibilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience using HRIS systems such as PeopleSoft Kronos or similar
- Leave experience (ADA FMLA and STD)
- Experience within an operations or high production environment (i.e. Manufacturing Distribution Warehouse)
- General knowledge of employment laws and practices
- Experience conducting new hire orientation and with administrative tasks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate Excel experience (data manipulation charts/graphs pivot tables and V look-ups)
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer the functions of the employment lifecycle such as sourcing staffing employment administration onboarding associate relations leave administration benefits administration and training.
- Manage the recruitment process to ensure compliance and the availability of talent to meet client group needs. This may include managing vendor/agency staffing relationships to supply a contingent workforce as needed.
- Deliver orientation and educate new hires on company policy and procedures.
- Advise and counsel management and associates on various state and federal regulations company policies and procedures and HR practices as they relate to associate issues performance management promotion and compensation practices
- Provide support to client group on associate relations matters to include investigations leveraging strategies toward resolution and providing recommendations for counseling/ employment status.
- Escalate complex associate relations matters to senior HR leadership as needed to ensure consistency with company practice and policy and mitigate legal risk for the organization.
- Develop strategies for achieving diversity including development of annual Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) for client group.
- Administer/Support HR as liaison with the third-party administrator for all Short-Term Disability claims.
- Maintain associate records for client groups both paper and electronic (PeopleSoft & Kronos) files; enter status changes in HRIS systems; generate reports as needed.
- Collaborate with senior HR and management in facilitating activities that drive job satisfaction engagement and morale.
Hiring Salary Range: $67140k - $84892k. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. It will be determined by factors including but not limited to: the applicants education experience knowledge skills and abilities geographic location as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
