Job Summary
Command Constructions is seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to oversee and optimize day-to-day operations across multiple heavy highway construction projects. This individual will ensure that all projects meet budget timeline quality and safety standards and are completed in strict compliance with contract specifications and company benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project teams to align on strategy goals and resource allocation.
- Assess operational and financial risks to maintain project budgets.
- Review all project documentation to understand full scope and requirements.
- Coordinate with the safety team to implement project-specific safety programs.
- Support project managers in planning scheduling and reporting.
- Monitor ongoing projects to ensure work aligns with specifications and timelines.
- Communicate project needs from project management to executive leadership.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with contractors and vendors.
- Mentor and train staff in project management and estimating practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management (Masters degree is a plus).
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar operations or construction management role.
- Strong leadership communication and team collaboration skills.
- Excellent organizational analytical and strategic planning abilities.
- Ability to interpret complex specifications and manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset and ability to meet deadlines.
