SUMMARY

The Product Marketing Lead at Charlotte Douglas International Airport will be responsible for marketing CLT Airport owned and partner products/services and community-focused sponsorship opportunities to ensure profitability and continued growth. Work involves collaborating on review recommendations and development to ensure marketability. Responsibilities involve substantial contact with other Aviation Department divisions stakeholders vendors and the public.

Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement marketing plans to promote and position products and opportunities effectively in the market in line with the Airports business and strategic objectives.

insights to tailor marketing strategies target key audiences and drive awareness to achieve market acceptance and sustain long-term profitability.

features into benefits to address customer concerns and monitor competitors offerings to identify gaps and opportunities.

closely with teams to develop promotional programs and tools to support the delivery of plans and new launches.

product training for employees and other audiences.

sales and market data to support planning and forecasting for making recommendations to achieve objectives.

with the development of the annual marketing plan and budget to achieve objectives.

special projects and participate in other activities as assigned.


Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Experience in marketing campaign development and implementation.
Experience in digital marketing advertising graphic design and social media.
Experience in planning writing editing design and production for print and digital projects.
Strong project management skills including attention to detail quality assurance and the ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects.
Considerable knowledge of research methods and their application to marketing.
Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers stakeholders vendors and the public.
Must be a self-starter resourceful and collaborative.
Ability to solve problems and think strategically.
Ability to work with limited supervision.
Proficiency using Microsoft Office.
Some knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and work management software

Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent and 7 year(s) of relevant experience; or 2 Year College degree and 5 year(s) of relevant experience; or Bachelors degree and 3 year(s) of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Marketing Business or closely related field plus five (5) years of hands-on experience in a product marketing role with a demonstrated track record of driving growth.

General Information:
Valid drivers license and ability to qualify for and maintain a City driving permit.
Business office hours on a hybrid schedule Mon-Fri apply; however occasionally non-traditional work hours are necessary to accomplish projects. Subject to calls back to work for emergency/urgent situations.
Accessibility by phone during off duty hours to assist in the response to urgent or special events is required.
Certain convictions will disqualify individuals from unescorted access privileges and therefore exclude from employment.

Positions in this class typically require grasping stooping squatting kneeling crouching reaching pushing talking hearing seeing and repetitive motions.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires extended periods of sitting. Remainder of time could be spent bending reaching twisting standing and walking. Must be able to utilize computer equipment.


Sensory Requirements:

Concentrated and attentive use of one or more senses (visual audio and other sensory modalities) for proofreading data entry and tabulating data
Ability to operate in an environment with frequent interruptions from people and or noises which in return could result in some level of stress fatigue or strain
Comprehensive of written information in work-related documents
Ability to hear understand and distinguish speech.

High School Graduate or Equivalent and Seven Years of Experience

or

2 Year College Degree and Five Years of Experience

or

Bachelors Level Degree and Three Years of Experience

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
