Job Description
Heres What You Need
Education
Associates Degree in Nursing(graduate from an accredited school of nursing is required).
Bachelors Degree BSN is preferred.
Masters Degree in a health-related field is preferred.
Experience
Three (3) years of RN clinical experience in acute care settingis required.
One (1) Year of experience in healthcare quality/performance improvement is preferred.
Licenses and Certifications
TX RN - Registered Nurse is required upon hire.
CPHQ - Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality is preferred.
Skills for Success
- Computer software skills including Microsoft Outlook Teams Excel Word and PowerPoint.
- Advanced ability to communicate in a clear concise and professional manner with various audiences. Understand and appreciate the sensitive and confidential nature of quality safety and performance improvement activities.
- Knowledge of Joint Commission and CMS standards Performance Improvement tools and data collection and analysis.
What You Will Do
Serving in the role ofRegistered Nurse Quality Improvement Coordinatoryour work would support Texas Healths commitment to continuous improvement in quality outcomes accountability safety operational efficiency and regulatory compliance. To be successful in this role you will possess the following skills and competencies including data analysis using performance and process improvement methodology and tools a working knowledge of patient safety and high reliability organization principles healthcare regulatory standard and practice standards.
