As a Ground Operations Duty Manager you will be responsible for supporting our business partners to deliver the objectives for our ground operations across ramp baggage and fleet functions in domestic and international airports. Reporting to the Ground Operations Manager the role will be accountable for driving safe day of operations performance overseeing ground handler activity to standards supporting the successful delivery of aircraft movements and driving the implementation of key strategic change initiatives in the Airports Ground Operations business through engagement with ground handler suppliers.
This role delivers competitive advantage to the business by delivering to safety operational financial and customer performance targets as well as supporting the development and implementation of change initiatives aimed at improving operating values systems and processes whilst driving synergies across suppliers necessary to achieve ongoing performance.
In addition to their operational activities this position requires the development of robust relationships with Customer Experience teams and other internal and external stakeholders to achieve business growth and development. The role will be expected to collaborate effectively with the broader Airports leadership Commercial and Airport Services team(s) and port operational supervisors to collectively deliver high levels of service for the business.
