The ServiceNow Technical specialist will design develop and implement ServiceNow solutions to meet business requirements. This role involves working closely with clients stakeholders and technical teams to configure customize and integrate ServiceNow applications and modules. The specialist will provide technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle and support ongoing platform enhancements and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical design and solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
Develop custom applications workflows and integrations using ServiceNow tools such as JavaScript Business Rules Client Scripts UI Policies and REST APIs.
Configure and customize ServiceNow modules including ITSM (Incident Problem Change) CMDB Asset Management and others.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of ServiceNow with other enterprise systems.
Participate in ServiceNow upgrades patches and performance tuning activities.
Provide technical guidance and best practices for platform development and architecture.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the ServiceNow environment.
Assist in the development of technical documentation including design specifications test plans and user guides.
Conduct knowledge transfer and training sessions for technical and non-technical users.
Work with stakeholders to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects.
Stay updated on the latest ServiceNow features releases and industry trendsd-party service providers supporting the ServiceNow platform.
Qualifications :
Educational qualification:
Bachelors degree/Masters degree(BE/ME) in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
Experience :7 Years
Mandatory/requires Skills :
Bachelors degree(BE) in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
5 years of experience working with ServiceNow platform development and configuration.
Proficiency in JavaScript HTML CSS and web services (REST SOAP).
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM ITOMITAM or CSM.
Strong understanding of ITIL processes and IT service management concepts.
Experience with ServiceNow integration tools and APIs.
ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator Application Developer or Implementation Specialist preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
