What will you be doing as a Grains Logistics Specialist
The Logistics Specialist is the cornerstone of Bunge KSAs logistics operations ensuring the smooth flow of commodities within the Kingdom. This role demands close collaboration with various departments and external partners to uphold the quality and delivery standards of our are open for applications from junior as well as from more experienced Logistics Specialists so if you recognize yourself in the following description do not hesitate to apply!
This will be done through the following activities:
- Closely Monitor Vessel transformation activities including discharging transporting and laytime.
- Collaborate with supervision companies to ensure title documentation is complete and accurate.
- Foster strong relationships with external partners including Port Authority Storage vendors trucking contractors and customers.
- Act as the primary contact for governmental bodies regarding commodity quality and quantity.
- Maintain control and documentation of stock throughout the logistics process.
- Manage daily operations and provide regular movement reports.
- Conduct quarterly physical inventory counts and coordinate with other Bunge KSA departments.
- Identify and secure optimal storage solutions to prevent demurrage issues and storage costs.
- Enhance discharge speed and timing in collaboration with service providers aligning with contractual terms.
- Continuously seek cost-effective alternatives for logistics operations.
What do we expect from our Logistics Specialist
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience (4 years) in commodity logistics preferably dealing with agricultural bulk.
- If you have the following experience on your CV we will call you first: Dry bulk commodity experience laytime calculating trucking coordination contracts with warehouses and dealing with port processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel and Word.
- (Near)-Native Arabic fluency in English
- SAP proficiency is a plus.
- Residing in the region of Riyadh.
- Excellent customer service skills.
