ARSIEM is looking for a Systems Integration Engineer/DevOps Specialist. This position will support one of our Government clients in Columbia MD.
Responsibilities
- Conducts research in design development testing and utilization of electronic data processing software.
- Designs develops documents tests and debugs application software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.
- Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning design development and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software.
- Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent output requirements input data acquisition programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers utility programs and operating systems.
- Ensures software standards are met. Analyzes user needs and software requirements to determine the feasibility of the design within time and cost constraints.
- Confers with systems analysts engineers programmers and others to design the system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities performance requirements and interfaces.
- Designs develops and modifies software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of design.
- Coordinates software system installations and monitors equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors (or equivalent) with 2 - 4 years of experience or a Masters with 0-2 years of experience.
- Experienced with frequent use and application of technical standards principles and theories.
- Works under general supervision providing solutions to technical problems of moderate scope/complexity.
$82000 - $111000 a year
The ARSIEM pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) job responsibilities education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other laws.

Clearance Requirement: This position requires an active Secret clearance. You must be a U.S. citizen for consideration.
Candidate Referral: Do you know someone who would be GREAT at this role If you do ARSIEM has a way for you to earn a bonus through our referral program for persons presenting NEW (not in our resume database) candidates who are successfully placed on one of our projects. The bonus for this position is $3500 and the referrer is eligible to receive the sum for any applicant we place within 12 months of referral. The bonus is paid after the referred employee reaches 6 months of employment.
