Service Clerk Essential Functions
- Set up and maintain service files: Includes but not limited to machine files and payroll documentation
- Process technician time sheets and forward them to clerical staff for processing per guidelines
- Input data to open work orders such as fuel and lube sublet labor and mileage
- Answer service department telephone calls in a timely professional manner
- Collects and relays information correctly takes messages and transfers calls appropriately
- Assist in telephone coverage for the branch per the schedule
- Ensures consisten and reliable onsite attedndance
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Service Clerk Minimum Qualifications
- One (1) year of office experience required; experience in heavy equipment or trucking industry preferred
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience with evaluating and calculatingpayroll hours and input
- Proficient with Microsoft Office - Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook and various web-based applications
- Ability to multi-task
- Possess simple reading/writing skills and basic math skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid drivers license
Safety Coordinator Physical Requirements
- Must be ableto sitfor long periods
- Pushing/Pulling/Lifting/Carrying up to 25pounds without assistance
- Physical ability to squat twist turn bend stoop climb and reach overhead
- Must be able to tolerate exposure to typical noises hazardous materials and fumes/odors associated with the shop
- Must be able to safely work around pressurized mechanical and electrical equipment
