As a Customer Business Manager you will play a pivotal role in driving the commercial success of our organisation managing key customer accounts across Independent Grocery and Alternate Channels by developing business strategies. This is a position for a visionary leader who can balance operational analytical and interpersonal skills to achieve our shared goals.
Your day to day:
- Develop and execute strategic business plans that align with organisational objectives and customer needs.
- Manage relationships with key accounts ensuring consistent communication and long-term partnership growth.
- Analyse market trends consumer behaviour and customer feedback to identify opportunities for innovation and expansion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing and supply chain to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers offering insights and solutions tailored to their business challenges.
- Monitor sales performance and generate reports to highlight successes and areas of improvement.
- Drive negotiations and agreements that optimise mutual business value.
You are:
- Commercially savvy with experience in commercial positions- sales category business management
- Can demonstrate exceptional leadership by guiding and coaching direct reports to achieve their full potential fostering a culture of continuous growth and collaboration
- Proven experience in strategic business planning preferably within the retail or consumer goods industry.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.
- Proficiency in digital tools and platforms with a forward-thinking approach to technology and innovation
