Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Plays a key supportive role in the screening and onboarding arrangements for staffing needs.
  • Reviews applications and conducts phone screens of candidates for employment.
  • Assists recruitment team with sourcing efforts.
  • Coordinates and communicates onboarding requirements and onboarding appointments for new staff.
  • Places new hire check-in calls one to three months following start dates to obtain employees feedback find out how they are assimilating in their new roles and answer questions.
  • Assists with advertising and job postings handles details related to external advertising.
  • Creates new and updates existing job posting templates that adhere to SPHS branding standards.
  • Serves as the point of contact for career fairs for assigned programs and represents the organization at the events.
  • Identifies appropriate career fairs to meet recruitment goals follows through to arrange representation and coverage by recruitment team and SPHS program managers handles all details related to the registration set-up and billing tracks attendance and turn out and reports back on success rate of each event.
  • Meets with new hires to facilitate the onboarding process and ensure complaince with new hire requirements.

Requirements:

  • Position requires Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Psychology or related field of study. Additional 4 years of HR experience will be considered in lieu of Bachelors degree; APHR certification preferred.
  • Work requires 6-12 months of related HR experience which includes the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing; compose clear communications; utilize Excel Word Outlook and PowerPoint with proficiency; demonstrate working knowledge of employment laws and practices practices and procedures; demonstrate attention to accurate detail and timely follow through in past work experience.
  • Experience with an electronic applicant tracking system is preferred.
  • Work requires analytical ability sufficient to extract information from written material observation and interviews for screening and recommending qualified applicants.
