- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets for automotive components/products.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the automotive OEM and Tier 1 supplier markets.
- Manage and grow existing customer relationships ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to potential customers.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with customers.
- Collaborate with engineering production and marketing teams to ensure customer needs are met.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends competitor activities and new technologies.
- Generate sales forecasts and reports.
- Manage sales budget and expenses effectively.
- Provide feedback to product development teams based on customer needs and market demands.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in automotive sales preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical understanding of automotive components and systems.
- Excellent communication presentation and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
