Job Description
This role will be based out of Singapore or Indonesia maintaining work within the Southeast Asia region.
To be successful in a Lead Cost Estimator role you will have an understanding in:
- Support the cost estimating service across the region with the view of taking on the Lead/PM role on future projects
- Estimating and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan.
- Manage the development of cost estimates from drawings and specifications.
- Creating new client and consultant relationships and opportunities in the market place.
- Conduct estimate assurance reviews and associate report writing.
- Take responsibility for your own deliverables and ensure all commitments are completed.
Qualifications :
- A recognised Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying Construction Economics Engineering or similar
- More than 15 years of experience within oil and gas will be preferred offshore wind experience will be a bonus
- Track record of engaging and influencing clients at a senior level.
- Ability to produce resource based estimates top down cost plans or parametric cost models
- Demonstrable reputation for challenge innovation and continued improvement.
- Have a passion for mentoring the team and future generations.
- Extensive experience in producing cost estimates (AACE Class 2 3 4 and 5) and cost benchmarking for major CAPEX investments US$ 1B across the oil and gas mining and clean energy sectors.
- Excellent written and spoken English. Mandarin and Bahasa an advantage.
- Good presentation and management skills.
