Job Description

What you would do as our Facilities and Maintenance Manager
As our Facilities and Maintenance Manager you will demonstrate strong leadership skills by ensuring a robust safety culture and compliance for the Maintenance team. In this role you will play a crucial role in the restructuring of the facilities plant and equipment to drive operational improvements and layouts.
You would also:
- Maintain legal compliance and service records including registers for insurance water risk assessments F-Gas and drawings.
- Keeps maintenance systems updated with new plant information weekly tasks and helpdesk logs.
- Coordinate and manage contractors for compliance servicing repairs and alterations (e.g. HVAC fire alarms substations).
- Handle work order prioritization quote collection purchase requisitions and contractor scheduling.
- Oversee on-site contractor activities including RAMs inductions and permit-to-work procedures as Person in Charge (PIC).
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who:
- Is experienced in mechanical electrical and building services with a strong background in plant maintenance reconditioning and management.
- Is skilled in CAD for creating modifying and maintaining up-to-date site and electrical distribution drawings.
- Holds qualifications in Mechanical Engineering Maintenance and Factory Services including EITB or equivalent certifications.
- Is certified in CAD or holds an equivalent technical qualification.
- Possesses basic CNC programming skills to support mechanical maintenance and engineering tasks.
