Job Purpose
Herc Rentals strives to be the employer and supplier of choice in our industry. Our Burnaby ProSolutions location is currently looking for a Territory Sales Representative to come and join their team. The successful candidatewill be a go-getter uncovering new opportunities in which to sell while having the ability to develop and nurture business relationships with companies and individuals in their designated territory. The Sales representatives goal is to maximize revenue for the branch and the company.
What you will do...
- Increase sales and branch revenue
- Establishing new rental and sales accounts through cold calling and personal visits to potential customer sites
- Develop out of the box sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness
- Evaluate customers skills needs and build productive long-lasting relationships
- Meet personal and team sales targets
- Research accounts and generate sales leads
- Attend meeting sales events and training to keep abreast of the latest developments
- Maintain and expand client database within yourassigned territory
Conditions of Employment
- Must have minimum 3 years outside sales experience. Experience within the equipment rental industry and/or within power generation highly desired
- Track record of over-achieving quota within the territory of the lower mainland consisting of Vancouver area north of Fraser River.
- Proficient with computers
- Exceptional organizations skills
- Strong communication negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and driven
- Must have valid class 5 drivers license
- A recent drivers abstract will be required

Pay Range:Base is $60000 plus uncapped commissions
Please be advised that the actual salary offered for any position is subject to the companys sole discretion and may be influenced by various factors including but not limited to the candidates qualifications experience location and overall fit for the role.
