Make your mark for patients

We are looking for aGlobal Pricing Operations and Analytics Leadto work in a highly dynamic environment in our Patient Impact Maximisation team preferably based at our HQ inBrussels Belgium or also possible in Slough UK or UCB European Hub.

About the role

In this role you are playing a crucial role to develop implement and optimise pricing models and processes that support the growth of the launch assets. This role is a key global-to-local interface between the Global Asset Teams and key Countries and Regions.

You will guide and coach Country Pricing teams on Pricing Business case development. You also act as Global Key User of the Pricing tools and governance and contribute to the future vision for development of global pricing tools and databases.

Who youll work with

You will report to the Head of Global Pricing Operations and Analytics and support the Regional Pricing Leads. You will work closely with cross-functional teams I2I market access Asset / Country / Regional Teams and partner with the Global Pricing Analyst.

What youll do

  • Responsible for a set of products acting as subject matter expert for the team for that specific asset
  • Provide input to the price strategy development and support the initial launch sequence optimization with the Global Strategic Pricing Lead
  • Develop the price policy for launch products and annual revision including over the product life cycle conducting the relevant analysis and price data management to help define gross and net floors and approved selling prices
  • Ensure the appropriate pricing policy and governance process is in place to enable operationalization of pricing strategies orchestrate governance for timely execution of price decision making and monitor ongoing compliance
  • Oversee the development of proposals and price business cases for price requests/changes of launch and in-market brands for G9 markets with accountability for coordination and quality for other markets
  • Present business cases in front of governance bodies (RPC GPC) in alignment with Regional Pricing Leads (EU&IM)
  • Validate Country price assessment quality in forecasting processes and track changes with associated price driver insights
  • Conduct international reference price and launch sequence optimisation analysis as required
  • Track price changes document and update pricing decisions in the system informing relevant stakeholders about decisions and their impact
  • Prepare recommendations to senior management on price proposals and risk mitigating strategies in collaboration with the Asset Team and the Regional Access team
  • Track competitor pricing and market trends to inform operational pricing decisions
  • Manage all activities within the Global Pricing Governance framework applying Global Pricing processes and utilising the Pricing Systems

Interested For this position youll need the followingeducation experienceandskills:

  • University degree (sciences economics finance or health economics)
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a pharmaceutical industry pricing role including at global level
  • Knowledge of global payer archetypes pricing and reimbursement regulations and processes in key markets and anticipated challenges and future developments of the pricing and reimbursement environment
  • Knowledge of how different factors drive payer and pricing decision making at country level
  • Knowledge of how prices and market access conditions in a market can influence other markets regionally or globally
  • Track record of delivery in the payer area or in developing launch price and market access strategies / policies or constructing payer value narratives
  • Project management team coordination experience
