Qualifications: degree or licensure as an Elementary Teacher Grades 1-6 (Preferred Early Childhood experience) licensure in of a successful student teaching experience and a minimum of five years successful teaching of successful experience involving parents in the educational of the ability to work successfully with a broad variety of of the knowledge of the guiding principles and learning standards of the Massachusetts Common Core State StandardsReports to:PrincipalJob Goal:The elementary teacher will be responsible for communicating knowledge and skills to students in an interesting stimulating and effective manner. He or she will use a variety of instructional methodologies and curriculum resources to present material to students and engage them in learning. The teacher will work as a team member sharing common planning professional development curriculum design and teaching responsibilities. The elementary teacher will administer different forms of student assessments and plan their instruction for students based on the data from the assessments.
